UPFA MP Kumara Welgama told media that the meeting between President Maithripala Sirisena and former president Mahinda Rajapaksa, which was to take place on Saturday, has been cancelled.

On Tuesday, UPFA MP T.B. Ekanayake told media that a meeting between the two will take place in the near future. He added that both Sirisena and Rajapaksa have expressed the willingness for such a meeting.
