Sirisena, Rajapaksa Arrive At Parliament For Crucial Meeting

President Maithripala Sirisena and former president Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived at the parliamentary complex for the meeting between the two to be held at the President's Office in the parliament.

The meeting was scheduled to start at 1.30pm. Sirisena arrived around 45 minutes early and Rajapaksa also arrived a short while ago.

The meeting will be “strictly based on issues related to the SLFP and will not discuss anything related to ongoing activities of the Government” a statement by President's Media Unit said earlier.
