Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna filed a complaint against former defense secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and several other individuals at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption on Wednesday.

Former District Secretary Neil de Alwis, Ampara Urban Council Chairman Indika Nalin Jayawickrama and another person were also named in the complaint which claimed that financial fraud had taken place during the 2013 Deyata Kirula Exhibition.

JVP Provincial Councilor Sunil Watagala and a few others arrived at the commission to file the complaint.

The 2013 Deyata Kirula was held at Hardy Technical Institute in Ampara.
