Sri Lanka Army announced this morning that Army Presidential Security Division was dissolved with effect from April 30.
Army Spokesman Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera told media that the army personnel have been sent to their respective regiments.
The Army PSD had 1200 personnel during the reign of former president Mahinda Rajapaksa. The total membership of PSD at that time was around 3000.
