Minister of Ports and Shipping Arjuna Ranatunga on Thursday (21) said that certain ‘internal terrorists’ were trying to divide Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) purposely.

Addressing a meeting at Attanagalla Pradeshiya Sabha complex, Ranatunga further stated that SLFP would be able establish a government if these ‘terrorists’ can stay away from the party.

“Activities of those people directly help UNP to gain power,” the minister claimed.

Ranatunga also pointed out that party members should understand the reality and act with genuine intent in order to protect the SLFP.
