The UPFA parliamentarian and former minister Basil Rakapasa has left the private hospital which he was receiving medical treatments this evening.

Rajapaksa also met his brother, former president Mahinda Rajapaksa a short while ago, trusted sources said.

According to them the former minister is likely to attend the parliamentary session in the evening.

Basil Rajapaksa was arrested on April 22 by the FCID on alleged financial irregularities of the Divi Neguma Department.

He was granted bail by Colombo High Court on June 15.
