The first family of Sri Lanka posing for a selfie at a wedding of a family friend. The selfie has been posted on the Twitter account of Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa.

A Malaysian airliner reportedly with 295 people on board has crashed in Ukraine near the Russian border, on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

There are reports of bodies and burning wreckage on the ground. 

International sources suspect that the airliner was gunned down my a missile strike. The Ukrainian military and pro-Russian rebels have accused each other of shooting down the plane; both sides say they were not responsible.
