Sri Lankan transport authorities announced special transport services to facilitate voters traveling to their villages for the presidential election. The Sri Lanka Transport Board confirmed additional bus services will operate throughout the day.

In coordination with provincial authorities, the National Transport Commission is providing extra bus options to ensure voters can easily reach their polling stations. Additionally, the Department of Railways has introduced special train services between Colombo Fort and Kankasanturaya to further support election-related travel.
