The Committee on High Posts in Parliament approved the nomination of Mr. L.P. Ratnayake as Sri Lanka's new Ambassador to the State of Kuwait  on September 18. 

This approval paves the way for L.P. Ratnayake to take up his diplomatic role, as  Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Kuwait.
