Anura Kumara Dissanayake, leader of the National People’s Power (NPP), is scheduled to be sworn in today as the 9th Executive President of Sri Lanka.

The ceremony will take place this morning at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo, where he will take the oath of office before Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya.
