Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has expressed his “fullest support” for newly elected President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. In a message shared on ‘X’,Sajith, who was a candidate in the recent presidential election, congratulated Anura on his victory and highlighted the shared goal of building a stronger, more prosperous Sri Lanka.

"This election ignited a passion like never before," Sajith stated, urging unity among Sri Lankans. He thanked his supporters and reiterated his commitment to serving the public. "Congratulations @anuradisanayake; you have my fullest support to get the job done," he added.
