Sri Lanka Customs has issued a warning regarding fake recruitment workshops claiming to prepare candidates for interviews for the position of Assistant Superintendent of Customs.
Additional Director General of Customs, Seevali Arukgoda, clarified that no official workshops are being organized.
He said that the Open Competitive Examination for the role has already taken place, and interviews for selected candidates are scheduled for September 27-29.
Seevali Arukgoda cautioned that these workshops, promoted on social media, may be part of an extortion scheme, saying that interview marks will only be awarded for national and international sports achievements, educational qualifications, and physical fitness—no additional marks will be given.
