An independent group from the Colombo District has officially deposited their bond in preparation for the upcoming general elections. Suresh Chamara Nakandala submitted the bond at the Colombo District Secretary's office.

Nominations for the elections will be open from October 4 to October 11, with voting scheduled for November 14.
