The National Audit Office has initiated an audit of all state-owned vehicles. Auditor General W.P.C. Wickramaratne said that preliminary examinations are currently in progress.

A special audit team has been assigned to oversee the audit across all state institutions. Furthermore, an investigation is being conducted on government vehicles stationed at various locations, including the President's Office.
