Masatsugu Asakawa, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), congratulated Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his election as the new President of Sri Lanka. Asakawa warmly welcomed Dissanayake as the ADB Governor for Sri Lanka, commending the country for conducting a peaceful and orderly election.
