The All-Island United Container Transport Owners’ Association has announced a 4 percent reduction in container transportation charges, effective from midnight on October 1.

Association President Sanath Manjula explained that this decision follows the government’s recent cut in auto diesel prices by Rs. 24, building on an earlier reduction of Rs. 10.
