Colombo High Court Judge Devika Livera de Tennakoon refused a motion filed by Danuna Tillekeratne related to the HiCorp Case.

 

He requested the lifting of his travel ban and allow him to access his assets which were frozen by the Fort Magistrate in connection with the HiCorp case.

 

However, the High Court observed that Tillekeratne had been absconding courts for five years. Therefore, the court cannot be satisfied on the conduct of Tillekeratne to allow the motion, the High Court said.
