'Speaking On Tamil People's Rights Does Not Make One A Terrorist': Samaraweera

Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera stated in parliament that speaking for the rights of the Tamil people does not make one a terrorist.
 
He made this observation taking part in the adjournmant debate on the 20th Amendment. Commenting on the US Terror report on the LTTE, Samaraweera said that the report refers to the year 2014, when the former government was in power.
 
Meanwhile, he stated that the post-war strategy of the government is different from that of the Mahinda Rajapaksa government. The Rajapaksa government's strategy was a total failure, he said.
