Former UPFA MP Bandula Gunawardena said that the future government led by Mahinda Rajapaksa will establish a Parliamentary Select Committee to probe the Central Bank Treasury bond issue.

 

Speaking at a press conference at Abhayarama Temple in Colombo, Gunawardena said that this will be the first task of the parliament following the general election on August 17.

 

Gunawardena said that the COPE report could not be released because the parliament was dissolved.
