During the last week, 798 new dengue cases have been reported across the island, marking a significant increase compared to the previous month.
According to the National Dengue Control Unit, the number of cases reported in May was 2,647.
So far this year, there have been 25,619 dengue cases, with the Western Province being the most affected area, reporting 9,348 cases. Nine dengue-related deaths have been recorded during this period.
