President Wickremesinghe is scheduled to address the nation on Wednesday, June 26, at 8:00 PM. This speech is expected to provide a comprehensive update on the country's current economic situation and the strides made in restructuring its foreign debt.

Sources close to the administration suggest that the President may declare Sri Lanka no longer bankrupt, a key  milestone for the island nation that has grappled with severe economic challenges over the past few years. The restructuring of foreign debt has been a critical focus for the government as it seeks to stabilize the economy and restore investor confidence.
