The Human Rights Commission has launched a special mobile service to monitor human rights violations during the election silent period and until the presidential vote count is completed.

Commissioner General Attorney-at-Law Nimal Punchihewa said that regional human rights offices will oversee this initiative, providing comprehensive oversight throughout the election process.
