Colombo High Court set the hearing of the bail application of UPFA MP Sajin de Vass Gunawardena for July 3 when it was considered today.

 

Gunawardena, who is in remand custody over the alleged misuse of 23 vehicles belonging to the Presidential Secretariat applied for bail on health grounds.

 

The High Court directed the Attorney General to instruct the Colombo JMO to conduct medical tests on Sajin de Vass Gunawardena and submit the reports to court on July 3. The bail will be considered following the submission of the reports, the court directed.
