The six member committee appointed to resolve the differences between President Maithripala Sirisena and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa held fruitful discussions with the President, SLFP Spokesman Dilan Perera told media this evening.

The meeting took place following the claim by Cabinet Spokesman Dr. Rajitha Senaratne that Rajapaksa will not be given nominations from the SLFP. However, Perera said that the President did not inform about such a decision.

John Seneviratne, Dilan Perera, Kumara Welgama, T. B. Ekanayake, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and Susil Premajayantha are the six members of the committee.
