Maithripala Fraction of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has appointed a committee headed by S.B. Dissanayake to formulate a strategy for the SLFP’s election campaign.

Apart from S.B Dissanayake, the five-member committee comprises of Rajitha Senaratne, Mahinda Amaraweera, Lasantha Alagiyawanna and Thilanga Sumathipala.It was appointed during a special meeting held last night.

Meanwhile it was reported that Rajapaksa Fraction of SLFP will announce their Prime Ministerial Candidate on July 01.
