Sri Lanka's ace cricketer Kumar Sangakkara said that he will retire from test cricket after the second test against India at home a short while ago.
Addressing the press briefing which was held to announce his retirement plan Sangakkara further stated that he will not take part in the third test against Pakistan.
The 37-year-old wicketkeeper already retired from One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty-20 cricket.
Recently he was received second highest votes for the 'Best Test player' of the 21st century in an online poll conducted by Cricket Australia's website.
