Campaign for Free and Fair Elections (CaFFE) said that the first election related death reported from Ratnapura last night (29).

 

Issuing a statement, CaFFE stated that the victim was a supporter of the United National Party (UNP) and he was hacked to death with sharp instruments.

 

It can be suspected that this murder is connected to the incidents that happened during presidential election in Ratnapura area in January, the statement said further.
