Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Propaganda Secretary Vijitha Herath stated that the government failed to fulfil the promises of the 100 Days Program.

 

Speaking at a press conference in Colombo, Herath said that the government betrayed the mandate given on January 8 by the people. The JVP launched several protests to remind the government of this fact, Herath also pointed out.

 

Furthermore, he said that the JVP was contesting the election with the objective of increasing the number of seats of the JVP to fight for a rapid social transformation.
