Former UPFA MP Ranjith de Zoysa said that former president Mahinda Rajapaksa will be named the Prime Ministerial candidate of the UPFA tomorrow.

 

This will be announced at the special event held in Medamulana, the former MP told Asian Mirror a short while ago.

 

Meanwhile, he said that the UNP has already launched an intense election campaign while the SLFP is practically invisible. Therefore, the SLFP and UPFA needs to start the campaign soon, he pointed out.

 

The former MP further said that they have already started the grass-root campaign in their respective electorates.
