Former First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa has been summoned to the police Financial Crimes Investigations Division, UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa said last night.
Updating his Facebook and Twitter profiles, Rajapaksa said that Tangalle Police handed over the notice last night.
Namal Rajapaksa hitout at the government saying that ‘good governance’ seems to be a façade for this government. Vengeance is not good governance, Rajapaksa said. Adding that his mother has always stayed out of politics he asked the government to keep her and his brothers alone.
Shiranthi Rajapaksa was summoned to the FCID on June 1 to be questioned on the 'Siriliya Saviya' organization.
