Several Sri Lanka Freedom Party members could be sworn in as ministers today, President’s Media Director Dharmasri Bandara Ekanayake told Asian Mirror.
However, no swearing in has taken place yet, he said a short while ago.
These ministers are expected to fill the posts vacated by four SLFP ministers who resigned last week.
Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, State Minister of Housing and Samurdhi Dilan Perera, State Minister of Public Administration and Democratic Governance C.B. Rathnayake and State Minister of Environment Pavithra Wanniarachchi resigned from their ministerial portfolios on May 21.
