UPFA MP Sajin de Vass Gunawardena was further remanded till June 17 by Colombo Fort Magistrate a short while ago.

Gunawardena was arrested on May 11 by CID for allegedly misusing 22 vehicles of the Presidential Secretariat.

CID last month told the courts that Gunawardena had used two of these vehicles for a private security firm. Gunewardena denies this allegation.
