The Colombo High Court today fixed the hearing of the bail application of former Tangalle Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Sampath Vidanapathirana in the Khuram Shaik case for June 26.

In July 2014, Sampath Vidanapathirana and three other defendants have been sentenced to 20 years Rigorous Imprisonment over the killing of British aid worker Khuram Sheikh and raping of his girlfriend at a resort in Tangalle.

The defence counsel sought a revision of the High Court Judgment.
