UPFA MP Manusha Nanayakkara told Asian Mirror that the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will be handed over to Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa at the earlierst possible moment.

The Speaker is currently out of Colombo, Nanayakkara said.

He also informed Asian Mirror that the no-confidence motion has been signed by a majority of parliamentarians.

The no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister was compiled on several grounds, including his conduct during the Central Bank Treasury Bond issue controversy.
