Minor Parties Hold 'Urgent Meeting' On 20th Amendment

Minor parties will hold an urgent meeting on the 20th Amendment this afternoon, Tamil Progressive alliance leader Mano Ganesan stated.

Speaking to Asian Mirror, Ganesan said that almost all active minor parties including the TNA and JVP will attend the meeting.

Most of the minor parties have expressed their reservations on the 20th Amendment recently approved by the Cabinet. Minister Palani Digambaram, who represaents the TPA, recently told that he will oppose the 20th Amendment if it is introduced in the present form.
