Deputy Minister of Housing and Samurdhi Amir Ali on Wednesday (10) stressed that general public must not help former president Mahinda Rajapaksa to enter the parliament once again.
Addressing a public function held in Kattankudy the deputy minister stated that some politicians did not want to see ‘good governance’ in the country.
“Those politicians tried hard to bring Mahinda Rajapaksa as the president for the third time. But Tamil and Muslim people together voted for Maithripala Sirisena and appointed him as the president in the country” he added.
