UPFA Hambantota District MP Namal Rajapaksa was grilled by the CID for over four hours.

 

Rajapaksa arrived at the CID at about 9.00am. Rajapaksa was queried on the security breach at a meeting in Angunakolapelessa.

 

An Army Corporal was arrested for bringing in a firearm to a meeting attended by President Maithripala Sirisena in late April. The Corporal had arrived at the meeting with Namal Rajapaksa.
