UPFA MP Dullas Alahapperuma asked former president Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga to stop creating divisions within the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
Speaking at a press conference at Abhayaramaya Temple this morning, he said that Kumaratunga is continuously proving that she wants to divide the party.
“Maithripala Sirisena’s agreement with UNP might have ended after 100 days. But Maithri-Chandrika agreement might be in force for five years” Alahapperuma added.
He pointed out that if she has really retired from politics, she should act accordingly. She can learn how to act like a retired executive president from the way the late president J.R. Jayawardena behaved after retirement, Alahapperuma also said.
