President Maithripala Sirisena appointed Suneth Nilanga Hendavitarana as the Sri Lanka Freedom Party's (SLFP) Organizer for Devinuwara parliamentary electorate in the Matara District.

 

He received his appointment letter from the President today (17) at the Presidential Secretariat.

 

He has been elected to represent the Southern Provincial Council on three occasions and has held the position of SLFP organizer for Devinuwara electorate earlier.

 

He is the son of former Senator late Dickson de Silva Hendavitharana.
